TEHRAN – The Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs said on Monday that Iran will continue sending food and fuel to Yemen through the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also said that the crisis in Yemen will be resolved “politically and through dialogue”.
He went on to say that the Yemeni talks will be resumed in Geneva.

He added that attendance of the Yemeni parties and political groups in the recent Geneva talks indicates the fact that the country’s groups support “serious” and “realistic” talks.

He also described continuation of attacks during the month of Ramadan as “inhumane” and “non-Islamic”.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran supports efforts being made by the UN envoy for Yemen to end military attacks against Yemen.
